Living Your Life - Being Smart Towards Your Personal Growth

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

People in general have a tendency to say things that are bigger than what they actually mean in reality. Ever been in a situation where one thing is said and another thing is completely done? It does get frustrating when people don't do what they said they would do, but so is life. From experience and the ability to distinguish great people (by great I mean those that live by their word) from those that shy away from their word; would it not be invaluable to keep those that do what they say? I think so. Afterall, who you are is your word. People will not reach far if their self promises and their promises to other people are broken. Saying one thing and doing another thing could be disastrous in many circumstances, either relating to business, relationships with self and others, etc.

Integrity is the building blocks that sustain our relationships with people and ourselves. Really take that in and live it. Make it your BluePrint for Success.

Sure you may get far in material possessions and constant flow of short-term relationships, but if that's what you want then by all means don't let no one stop you. But if you want a deeper connection than that and a more fulfilled means of living then live by your word. What more powerful thing is there.

If others keep breaking their word to you, would it not be wiser to move on and keep them as an acquaintance rather than your other close associates who do in fact honor their word. Be wise in selecting who you would like to do business with. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".

Individuals that deliver on their word and push you to become more are the people you want to hold onto. Do you have those types of people in your life? If not, find them! How would the world look like if everyone kept their word and did what they said they would? Imagine that. Would you be financially free if you did that, have better relationships with those around you, or live the life you always wanted? It all starts with yourself. One of the hardest things anyone can do is look within themselves. But so few have the will power to do so. That's fine, the world is what is it because it is what is it. There is nothing wrong here. But wouldn't it be a better choice to start improving and investing in yourself? Your growth will affect your immediate environment and flow outwards to manifest other areas of life.

Bonus:

Learn to become a better person and be selfish to become better! Sound like a contradiction to what your teachers taught you? We all have the tendency to be selfish. Think about it, who's the first person you look at when you look through a photo album? It's most likely yourself isn't it? So take this opportunity and focus on yourself and become stronger, mentally, physically and spiritually. It starts with yourself and flows out to others. You will only attract things and people that you project out within yourself. If you think you only attract bad situations then guess what, you will probably end up with more bad situations. Think about this. If you pray or hope to attain patience what do you think you will get? You will not receive patience out of thin air but rather the opportunities to be patient. Does that make sense? It will be tested.

If you stay focused and apply yourself to what you want, you will get what you wanted in the first place. With no effort and sheer hope that you'll get what you ask for, you'll probably get less of what you want and also experience submission towards procrastination. It will be harder and a longer process than you would like it to be without effort. Decide to take those little steps and think not of how but of your end results of your dreams. What you dream of combined with action in that direction will produce unimaginable results. It could be as easy or as hard as you want. Ultimately, the choice is yours.
